Cybersecurity Education Against Trafficking Scams

$ 100

Highlight the dangers of online interactions to vulnerable communities.

Traffickers and criminal syndicates are increasingly using social media and messaging platforms to lure desperate victims with lies and false job offers. They also use irregular migration channels to smuggle victims illegally, and subsequently threaten them with jail and punishment to coerce them into forced labour and sex. HAGAR creates social media campaigns to help potential victims spot these tactics. We also reach out to remote communities and host workshops in the villages at the provincial level.
