Part of the recovery journey includes training to be independent. The transitional care is the baby step to preparing them for community reintegration. During this period, clients would be able to identify economic opportunities, start thinking about longer term plans for their future, and be able to regulate their emotions. They are better equipped to make informed decisions and manage independent living. HAGAR continues with counselling and therapeutic care helping them to heal and develop increased resilience. This is a wonderful milestone in their recovery journey and your support would really encourage survivors as they move towards complete restoration.
