Feed a family and alleviate their struggle to live.
More than half of Afghanistan's 23 million population is experiencing extreme hunger. Children are the worst affected, with more than 3 million malnourished and at least a million at risk of dying from starvation. HAGAR and other NGOs are distributing food aid, but we are only scratching the surface of the problem. Each food pack from HAGAR feeds a family of 8 and includes 25kg rice, 50kg flour, 5L cooking oil, 7kg sugar, 7kg dried beans / lentils and 1kg tea.
