Inspired by true human trafficking stories, every scarf in this designer collection speaks of the plight of trafficking survivors in Singapore and their remarkable resilience in overcoming their adversities. Part of an awareness project and in collaboration with 5 leading fashion designers and artists in Singapore, the “Be A Voice for the Silenced” campaign seeks to raise public awareness and mobilise community action; each scarf design carries a message of hope that speaks to victims in their native language.
The maze in this design is inspired by Anisha’s story and also depicts the situation many victims find themselves trapped in. Contrastingly vibrant colours represent the sense of hope victims can still hold onto, despite the darkness.
